Lowell E. Wallace — UPDATED
Lowell E. Wallace, 66, a lifetime Plymouth resident, passed away after a battle with cancer with his family by his side at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at the Catherine Kasper Life Center in Donaldson.
Lowell was born in Plymouth, Jan. 29, 1950 to Lewis E. and Betty (Marsh) Wallace. He graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1968.
He joined the Army National Guard in 1968 during the Vietnam War. He was Honorably Discharged in 1975.
Lowell worked at the Bremen Foundry for over 20 years.
He worked on the family farm for many years. Lowell loved the outdoors and enjoyed coon and deer hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his siblings: Marsha L. Karch, Rochester; Larry E. Wallace, Plymouth; Richard E. (Jean) Wallace, Plymouth; Sharon E. Shaffer, Kansas City, Mo.; Tammie L. Sherk, Plymouth; sister-in-law, Debbie J. Wallace, Argos; his former spouse, Sandra Wallace; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and many good friends.
Lowell was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Wallace.
Per his requests, no services will be held. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
