NorthWood Swimming: Plymouth A Split Decision
NAPPANEE – The Northern Lakes Conference season pressed on Tuesday in the pool, where NorthWood’s girls topped Plymouth 98-85 while the Pilgrim boys topped the Panthers 120-57.
Meet highlights for the Lady Panthers included eight event winners in a loaded first half. Kate Jarvis had a big night, taking the 50 and butterfly and helped the medley and 400 relays to victories as well. Joining Jarvis in the medley were Megan Stankovich, Elle Jansen and Brittany Hershberger while the 400 had Jarvis, Jansen, Stankovich and Haley Grove. Jansen was also a double winner in the individual medley and breaststroke while Stankovich won the 500.
Laura Schrock won diving for the Lady Panthers.
Jason McNeil was noted to be a bright spot for the boys team, winning the IM and 500. Daniel Hochstetler took second in the 100 and Michael Chupp was runner-up in the butterfly.
NorthWood will swim again Saturday at home against Concord.
