Edgewood Basketball: Cagers Claim Two Wins
NORTH MANCHESTER – The Edgewood Middle School boys basketball teams picked up a pair of wins over host Manchester Tuesday night.
Mason Martz scored 17 points to lead Edgewood to a 59-56 win in the 8th grade contest.
Brock Poe scored 13 points and Bishop Walters added 12 for the winners. Drew McCleary chipped in with nine points and Luke Adamiec eight for Edgewood.
Weston Hamby tossed in a game-high 24 points to lead Manchester. Jonathan McAtee had 16 points for the home team, while Kaiden Pence scored nine, Max Carter six and Carter Bedke one.
Jackson Dawson finished with a game-high 23 points for Edgewood in a 52-22 win in the 7th grade contest.
Jackson Elliott had eight points and Cade Graham seven for Edgewood.
Gabe Case led Manchester with nine points. Cade Jones and Justin Hall each scored three points for the home team.
