Whitko Students Of The Month For December
PIERCETON — The following individuals were chosen as Whitko students of the month for December:
William Farner – Whitko High School
William is a very respectful young man; not only to staff, but towards other students. He has a great personality and is always smiling. He has a great work ethic, is always conscientious about assignments and participating in class, while also displaying positive behavior in/outside of the classroom. He is a joy to have in class and I believe he is a true role model for WHS!
Michael was nominated by Substitute Staff Member, Cheri Bryan
Kyle Reed – Whitko Middle School
Kyle was recommended because he is very athletic, has a great attitude, is a leader in class, and helps and encourages others. Kyle does not complain about what activity or sport we are doing for the day. Also, he is a great volleyball player!
Amber Franklin – South Whitley Elementary School
Amber is a student who demonstrates life skills in her everyday life. In the classroom, she perseveres on work and does not get discouraged when she makes mistakes. She uses great manners by always saying please and thank you in the cafeteria and in the classroom. Amber goes above and beyond by helping others to understand concepts. She is a nice friend to many and an awesome role model as a student!
Amber was nominated by teacher, Marla Burkhart.
Alexa Culp – Pierceton Elementary School
Alexa is a great role model for her peers. She works hard all the time. She is able to get clarification on skills if she doesn’t understand. She gets along with her peers and shows extra attention to those who may need it. She nicely reminds her classmates if they need a nudge in the right direction. Alexa is a great example of what Whitko is all about!
Addison was nominated by teacher, Jennifer McCammon.
