Terry John Klondaris
Terry John Klondaris, Warsaw, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Dec. 4, 2016 at the age of 91.
He was born Sept. 13, 1925 in Warsaw, to Helen (Bechakas) Klondaris and John Klondaris. On Sept. 12, 1948 he was married to Martha (Cox) Klondaris, who survives in Warsaw.
He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where he was a 1943 graduate of Warsaw High School. Terry served in the U.S. Air Force from 1943 until his honorable discharge in 1945. He attended Indiana University and graduated with a business degree in 1949. He joined the family restaurant, the Humpty Dumpty, and worked there until 1956. For the past 60 years he was an integral part of Cox Studio in Warsaw. Terry was a member of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, a past President and life time member of the Warsaw Rotary Club, he also served on many community organizations in different capacities throughout his lifetime. Terry loved his country, community, church and above all his family.
Along with his wife he is survived by his son: Michael Klondaris and spouse Lena Fermbeck, Warsaw; two daughters: Cindy Hampton and husband Doug, Warsaw; Kristine (Kacy) Arnold and husband Thomas, Silver Lake. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Kristine (Jones) Davis and husband Clint, Natalie (Jones) Cole and husband Josh, Kristofer and Hanna Klondaris; and five great grandchildren: Jack, Rhett, Annie, Campbell and Luke.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
His funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home of Warsaw and officiated by Pastor Dr. Erik Ohman.
Burial will be a private family graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery with military rites conducted by the American Legion Post #49 and V.F.W. #1126 both of Warsaw.
