Murder Of Sarah Gibbs Remains Unsolved After Two Years
WARSAW — Almost two years has passed since autistic Warsaw resident Sarah Gibbs was murdered. Even after all this time, it has not been determined who killed Gibbs.
On Dec. 19, 2014, Gibbs’ duplex on Smith Street, Warsaw, was set on fire. Officials determined Gibbs was killed before the home was set ablaze.
Gibbs’ family is still searching for information about what happened that night and are asking the community for help finding her killer.
Gibbs’ father, Howard Gibbs, explains few individuals have come forward but he believes someone must know something about what happened that night. “Someone out there heard something,” said Howard.
Howard mentioned Sarah went to several places in town often. Sarah often went to Marsh, Cardinal Services, Our Father’s House, the YMCA at it’s old location, Dollar General on Market Street and the Warsaw Community Public Library.
Howard asks that anyone who may have seen something that night or has any information about who the killer may be to come forward.
Michiana Crime Stoppers is still offering a $10,000 award for an individual who provides information leading to Sarah’s killer.
Individuals who believe they may have any information about Sarah’s murder can call the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s TIP line or Michiana Crime Stoppers.
