NAPPANEE — The following events will take place at the Nappanee Public Library:
Locke V. Nappanee: What’s All the Fuss?
In 1874, one major event caused people in the small town of Locke, to dig up their roots and move two miles south. Join us at the Nappanee Center from 6-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, to learn more about what the town lines looked like prior to 1874, why Locke disliked the town of Nappanee, and what happened to cause this split between the two. No registration is necessary.
Alzheimer & Dementia Caregivers Support Group
Are you or someone you know caring for someone with Alzheimer’s? Join our support group, which meets on the first Tuesday of the month. The group will meet from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, will feature a special presenter, as well as practical support and encouragement. No registration required.
TEEN TUESDAY CREATES HANDMADE GIFTS
Join us for this monthly meeting for Teens from 4-5 p.m. Dec. 6. December’s project will be creating three handmade gifts. Choose from sharpie mugs, shrinky dink creations and luminary jars. Wiggle giggle christmas
This popular program for toddlers and preschoolers returns for a special Christmas dance party, from 10:30-11 a.m. on Wednesday in December. It is designed to keep little ones continuously on the move, so plan on a long nap after this fun-filled time of Christmas music, dance, and plenty of laughter. Registration is requested, not required.
