Samuel A. Christner
Samuel A. Christner, 79, New Paris, died 9:35 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at his residence. He was born Feb. 26, 1937 in LaGrange County to Amos and Elizabeth (Bontrager) Christner. He married Ruby (Miller) Christner on May 23, 1959.
Samuel is survived by his wife; three children, Glen (Pauline) Christner, Chouteau, OK, Debra Jean Christner, New Paris, Sam (Andrea) Christner, New Paris; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Elmer (Amanda) Christner, Goshen. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ida and Gertrude Graber.
Samuel worked in an upholstery shop and as an RV factory worker. He was a member of Milford Chapel.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, and 9-10 a.m. Nov. 8, with a service following at 10 a.m. all at Milford Chapel, 321 East Beer Road, Milford. Pastors Joe Yoder, Menno Yoder, and Wayne Schrock will officiate. Burial will take place in Salem Cemetery.
