Loretta Y. Walls — UPDATED
Loretta Y. Walls, 78, passed away Friday, Oct. 28, 2016 in Port Charlotte, Fla.
She was one of two daughters born to Edward M. and Lois J. (Kyle) Conaway.
Loretta was a 1956 graduate of Warsaw High School in Warsaw. It was here that she spent most of her lifetime except for the past 12 winters which she spent in Port Charlotte.
On Oct. 3, 1975, she was married to Wendell A. Walls in Warsaw. He preceded her in passing on June 16, 2015.
She had worked as a bank teller for First National Bank and Mutual Federal Savings Bank.
She was a long-time member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She loved flowers, antique cars and motorcycling.
Those left with memories to treasure are sister: Carol (husband, Roger) Stump of Warsaw; nephew: Kevin (wife, Tina) Stump of Helena, Mont.; niece: Toni Copenhaver of Twinsburg, Ohio; six great nieces and great nephews and four great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
In addition to her husband, Wendell, those who preceded Loretta in passing include her parents, Edward M. Conaway Aug. 14, 1989 and Lois J. Conaway Sept. 5, 1987.
Friends may join family for a time of visitation and sharing of memories from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3 in Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw.
A funeral service which celebrates Loretta’s life will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, in the Funeral Home. Pastor Robert Conelley of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
The family has asked that memorial gifts be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 2943 West 400 North, Warsaw 46582.
