Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents.
3:25 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, North Lake Street and Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: Christopher J. Pezan, 21. East CR 900N, Syracuse. Pezan had left the Time Out bar heading east on Lake Street when he went through the middle of the roundabout and rolled his vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
2:05 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, North SR 19 and West CR 1350N, Nappanee. Drivers: Sharon C. Duff, 51, North CR 900W, Nappanee, and Jimmie D. Geyer, 81, Hickory Lane, Nappanee. Duff did not see the stop sign and collided with Geyer’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
7:26 a.m. Friday, Oct 28, Fort Wayne Street and North Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jazmin A. Cielo, 23, North Lincoln Street, Warsaw, and Jena M. Marcuccilli, 43, EMS C24 Lane, Warsaw. Cielo and Marcuccilli were stopped at the intersection when both drivers assumed right of way, colliding. Cielo was cited for driving on an expired learners permit. Damage up to $10,000.
11:59 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, North Detroit Street, north of CR 250N, Warsaw. Drivers: Travis M. Smith, 38, CR 126, Paulding, Ohio, and Matthew D. Drudge, 27, Chinworth Court, Warsaw. Smith merged left into Drudge’s vehicle just north of the CR 250N intersection. Drudge moved left to try and avoid Smith and collided with the guardrail. Drudge overcorrected his vehicle, colliding with Smith’s vehicle and pushing him off the roadway into an embankment. Damage up to $10,000.
3:05 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Driver: Matthew B. Haag, 28, East Market Street, Warsaw. Haag was eastbound in the Walmart parking lot when he collided with a parked vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
3:56 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, West Winona Avenue, west of South Zimmer Road, Warsaw. Driver: Tiffaney N. Hughes, 15, River Ridge Road, Tippecanoe. Hughes was attempting to pull out of a parking lot on West Winona Avenue when she turned to sharply and ran off the road, striking a Century Link wire box. Damage up to $5,000.
4:29 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, South Detroit Street and East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Stone C. Miller, 19, South Hancock Street, Warsaw, and Brad M. Eberly, 35, West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Miller rear ended Eberly when he was unable to stop at a red light. Damage under $750.
8:09 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, North Parker Street, north of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Ana L. Soto, 40, East CR 200N, Warsaw, and Deborah S. Messenger, 50, East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Soto rear ended Messenger when her foot slipped off the brake pedal. Damage up to $1,000.
Milford
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:
12:35 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, North Henry Street south of West Syracuse Street, Milford. Drivers: Jeannine M. Boyer, 73, North Lake Street, Warsaw, and Jeffrey C. Henderson, 28, North Henry Street, Milford. Boyer was backing out of a driveway on North Henry Street when she collided with Henderson who had just turned onto the street. Damage up to $1,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
1:48 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, North SR 13 north of East CR 1000N, Syracuse. Driver: Dana L. Fife, 35, South Palestine Lane, Warsaw. Fife was driving southbound on SR 13 when a deer ran out in front of her vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
3:08 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, North Detroit Street and Anchorage Road. Drivers: Tere P. Connors, 55, Heron Blvd, Warsaw, and Pamela Castillo, 26, East Clark Street, Warsaw. The traffic light turned yellow as Connors approached in traveling north on Detroit Street. Connors tried to make the light, colliding with Castillo who had turned left through the intersection. Damage up to $10,000.
