Election Day
November 8 is Election Day. Some of us dread it. Others embrace the opportunity. This year I can honestly say, I’m somewhere in-between.
However, the discouragement I felt in October of 2015 was replaced with hope when I decided to volunteer and give my time to a cause bigger than myself. I decided to join “Team Banks” and participate in the effort to have a true conservative elected as the Republican nominee for the 3rd Congressional District. It has been my solace. Thank you Lord that in some small way maybe I can make a difference.
And this is why: Jim Banks will support a human life amendment to the Constitution. He will continue to sponsor and vote in favor of legislation to restore legal protections to unborn babies. Not only will Jim Banks stand up for the right to life, he will defend our religious freedom. Banks has said the he believes the issue of religious freedom will unequivocally be one of the defining issues of his lifetime as religious institutions, private organizations and businesses face increased scrutiny and zealous regulation designed to bring them in line with views directly opposed to our deeply held personal values. Folks, we are under attack from our own government on these issues. These social concerns are what drove me to get involved.
Finally, In view of recent developments regarding the ordered pay back of recruitment bonuses by almost 10,000 National Guard Troops, it gives me hope knowing my Congressional Representative will fight for what is right on behalf of our veterans. Jim Banks is a veteran who will honor our commitments to our service men and women.
Let me encourage you this election year to vote. Remember there is hope. Vote for the True Conservative who will stand by the unborn, fight for religious freedom and support our veterans guaranteeing them the benefits they deserve. Vote Banks!
