Annelies Krause Campbell
Annelies Krause Campbell, Winona Lake, passed away at her residence at 2:05 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, at the age of 82.
She was a resident of Winona Lake for the past 50 years where she was a member of Warsaw Church of Christ. Annelies worked for J.C. Penney in Warsaw as the manager of the catalog department from 1976–1997. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She was born Dec. 10, 1933 in Rochlitz, Czechoslovakia to Hermine (Gebert) and Emil Krause. On March 16, 1957 in Kaufbeuren, Germany she was married to Warren R. Campbell, who passed away Sept. 23, 2010.
She will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters: Yvonne (husband Andy) Strack, Kendallville; Ingrid Campbell, Shawnee, Kan.; Heidi (husband Eric Younger) Campbell, Ketchum, Idaho; and seven grandchildren: Andrew, Christian, Anthony and Evan Strack, Jackson Burnett, Kai and Zachary Younger. She also leaves behind two sisters-in-law: Marilyn Bolinger, South Bend; and Marie Krause, Obergünzburg, Germany.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; sister: Traudl Schon; brother: Josef Krause; three brothers-in-law: Georg Schon, Dean Hoggatt, Corbin Bolinger; and her sister-in-law: Thelma Hoggatt.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw and officiated by Pastor Kent Hoggatt. Burial will be at a later date at Marion National Cemetery in Marion.
