Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
9:44 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, North SR 13, north of East CR 1120N, Syracuse. Driver: Jadelyne R. Skelton, 18, South Harmless Drive, Syracuse. Skelton struck a deer when it ran into the path of the vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
3:42 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, West Crystal Lake Road, east of North CR 650W. Driver: Shelby L. Baker, 20, South CR 900W, Mentone. Baker swerved and lost control of her vehicle, leaving the roadway. The vehicle rolled once and then struck a tree. Damage up to $10,000.
4:40 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 25, East US 30, east of South CR 900E, Pierceton. Driver: Robert L. Mckinzie, 42, East Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Mckinzie struck a deer. Damage up to $25,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
4:20 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Sandra L. Cox, 74, West Oak Street, Payne, Ohio, and Brock J. Savage, 20, Briarwood Drive, Anderson. Cox made a wide turn in the Walgreens parking lot, catching her vehicles front bumper cover on Savage’s towing ball. Damage up to $2,500.
