WARSAW — The following will take place in November at the Warsaw Community Public Library.
Computer Clinic: Answers to technology-related questions are available 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, and 4-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30.
Drop-In Zone is open 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, with video and board games, snacks and a movie for grades 6-12.
Off the Shelf reading group gathers at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, to discuss, “The Wedding Dress,” by Rachel Hauck.
Francine’s Friends Mobile Mammography will be in the library parking lot 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5. Appointments are available at (800) 727-8439, ext. 6812. Assistance is available.
Chess Club meets 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays in November and is open for beginners and experienced chess players. Cookbook Club meets at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, to share recipes for side dishes.
Knit and Purl Club will meet from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, to work on projects and share tips. Beginners and expert knitters are welcome.
The writers club gathers from 6:30-7:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14. Topics to write about include Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and frost on pumpkins.
Learn the Microsoft Excel basics from 10-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15. Registration begins at 8 a.m.
Hooked on Crochet will meet from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15. All levels are invited to join and help is available.
Create a make-it, take-it turkey glove gobbler from 2-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16. Registration is available at the library and the cost is $1 per turkey.
Lake City Piecemakers quilting club meets from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18.
Minecraft Grades 6th- 12th will meet from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19. Registration is required.
Steve Zorn of Personal Safety Unlimited will visit the library from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, to present, “Four Steps to Personal Safety.” This free, 60-minute presentation will include instruction and demonstration.
Card making with Faith Ketterer returns at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28. The cost is $8. Participants can register at the library’s reference desk with a $4, non-refundable cash deposit. An additional $4 is due at class time. Register by the Saturday before class.
The evening book club invites readers to bring one or two books to discuss between 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29.
