Junior Achievement of Kosciusko County Hosting Achieve-A-Bowl
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Junior Achievement of Kosciusko County is holding their annual Achieve-A-Bowl fundraising event from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, at The Bowling Alley located at 1535 N. Detroit Street, Warsaw. This year’s theme will be great fun and will focus on our Superhero’s in the community. There will be a trophy presented for the winning team for “Raises the Most Money,” “The Best Superhero Costume” and “The Best Superhero Team.”
Gather a team of 5 friends, coworkers or family to bowl, designate a Team Captain, raise a total of $350 to support JA Programs and come out for a great afternoon of bowling, prizes and fun.
JA is a non-profit organization that provides in school, economic education for nearly 6,000 students K-12 in Warsaw, Tippecanoe Valley and Pierceton schools. Together with local community volunteers and teachers they are educating today’s youth about the basics of financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness. Participation in the Achieve-A-Bowl enables JA to bring these sound economic values to the classroom encouraging students’ growth to reach their highest potential and in turn impact our community’s economic future.
