LAGRANGE COUNTY — LaGrange County Deputies responded to a call about a theft after a man found his marijuana had been stolen from his hotel room.

The theft happened around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday night.

Police say J. Johnson from Michigan called police and reported that he had about 3.5 grams of marijuana that he left in his hotel room. Johnson said that while he was gone, someone stole his marijuana from the room.

Johnson then requested that officers investigate the theft of the illegal substance.

Officers say they searched the immediate area but were unable to locate the missing marijuana.
