Larry L. Miller
Larry L. Miller, 68, South Whitley, passed away Friday evening, Oct. 14, at his home. Born November 18, 1947 in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Willis E. and Mildred (Ross) Miller.
He grew up on his family’s 700 acre farm in Larwill and attended Larwill High School. On December 6, 1991, he married Norma (Dimmick) Hackworth in Collamar. He retired from Dana Corporation with over 40 years of service in 2007.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Norma Miller, South Whitley; children, Candy (Robert) Jenkins, Gallatin, Tenn., Wendy (Steve) Hernandez, Bloomington, Keith Miller, Saudi Arabia and Cheryl Hoagland, Laverne, Tenn.; step-children, Randall (Cherie) Hackworth, Brownsburg and Brenda Thompson, South Whitley; sister, Elizabeth Wood, Tempe, Ariz.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Deborah (Kile) Miller; and sister, Nancy Waldeck.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Certified Funeral Celebrant Sharon Brockhaus officiating. Burial will follow at Eberhard Cemetery.
