Two Vehicle Accident in Milford

MILFORD — At approximately 10:59 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, Milford Police was called to a two vehicle accident at the corner of North James and East Fourth streets in Milford.
According to reports at the scene, a black Chevrolet Blazer was heading north on James Street. The driver stopped at the intersection before proceeding into the path of a blue Ford Escape that was traveling westbound on Fourth Street. The driver of the Blazer reported that he was distracted by a dog inside the vehicle and did not see the oncoming Ford.
Lutheran EMS was called to the scene to examine a passenger in the Blazer who complained of rib pain. Neither driver, nor the dog, was injured.
Both vehicles required towing from the scene of the accident.
