Jacqueline O. Walter
Jacqueline O. Walter, 96, Warsaw, passed away at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016 in Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw.
On Sept. 26, 1920, she was born in Marion to Arthur and Irene (Phillips) Wiley. She was united in marriage to Chester Walter, who preceded her in death.
Jacqueline was a graduate of Marion High School, Marion and also a member of Eastern Star. She worked as a bank teller for First National Bank from 1944 until her retirement in 1988.
She is survived by two sons: Phillip Walter, Warsaw; and Paul Richard Walter, Bristol; her brother, Ralph Wiley, Ocala, Fla.; four grandchildren: Ryan (and spouse Kim) Walter, Brighton, Colo.; Bradley (and spouse Ann) Walter, Knoxville, Tenn.; Justin (and companion Adrianne) Walter, Warsaw; Andy (and spouse Carol) Walter, Georgetown, Texas; and eight great grandchildren. Jacqueline was also preceded in death by her son, Joseph Walter; four brothers: Vern Wiley, LaVelle Wiley, Arthur Gale Wiley and Charles Wiley.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
Visitation hours will be from 4–8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 in the funeral chapel.
