Randy E. England — UPDATED
Randy E. England, 59, South Whitley, passed away at 9:24 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2016 in his residence.
He was born Dec. 27, 1956 to Orville Eugene and Bonnie Lou (Shoemaker) England in Warsaw.
On Oct. 25, 1974 Randy was united in marriage to Sarah Compton in Packerton. Randy is survived by his wife of forty one years, Sarah England, South Whitley; three daughters: Tracy England, Claypool; Brandy (and spouse Gerald) Crawford, Gaston; Jesica and her companion, Christopher Peete, Elkhart; ten grandchildren: Akashia Garber, Kayla Garber, Nicholas Garber, Sydney Miller, Jada Miller, Christopher England, DeMarcus England, Keegan England, Karissa Peete and Desman England; two great grandchildren: Bayleigh Garber and Kasen Garber; his brother, Gene England Jr., Warsaw; and his sister, Connie Shepherd, St. Pete, Fla. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Rick Gooch and his sister, Carol Carlson.
A lifelong resident of Kosciusko County, he owned Randy’s Auto Body & Repair Shop in Claypool. He was a man of many trades and an all-around handy man. He also worked in maintenance for nine years at Rinker’s Boat Company in Syracuse. His favorite thing to do was repair and restore old, classic, and muscle cars.
Randy was a very sociable man, who had a big heart and everybody liked him. He would give of himself to family and friends that needed help, often going out in the night to help others. He spent a lot of time taking care of his dad.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 in Victory Rock Church, 6170 South 500 East, Warsaw, IN 46580 with Pastors Charles Trout and Burnice Ousley officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Visitation hours will follow the service from 4–8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 at Victory Rock Church, Warsaw.
