YMCA Announces Leadership Transition
WARSAW — The Kosciusko Community YMCA’s Board of Directors has announced that current CEO Chad Zaucha has resigned his position and is relocating to Muncie to be the President and CEO of the YMCA of Muncie. He begins his new role on Oct. 3.
Board President Tim Minear said, “We are so appreciative of the work Chad has dedicated to our members, staff and community these last six years. Our new facility is a crown jewel and certainly would not have come to pass without Chad’s leadership.”
The volunteer Board of Directors has developed a search committee that is working together with YUSA, the national resource office for the nation’s YMCAs, to transition to new leadership. This position requires strong skills and competencies including, but not limited to: program operations, fundraising, staff development, strategic planning, membership and program analysis, and facility management. The CEO will be visible in the community and active in the development of meaningful community partnerships, continuing to position The Kosciusko Community YMCA as a strong charitable partner. Applicants can apply here. Resumes will be accepted until Nov. 4.
Interim leadership will be provided by Stacey Anderson, the YMCA’s Director of Finance and Roberta Kelzer, retired CEO. Kelzer comes to the Kosciusko Community YMCA with 32 years of experience leading Ys, recently retiring from the Monroe County YMCA.
