WARSAW — Warsaw-Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a structural fire at Canterbury Apartments, Warsaw around 10:11 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25. Upon arriving, crews called for a full assist from Winona Lake Fire Department and requested that many surrounding departments appear on standby.
It was originally dispatched that as many as four apartments could be impacted from the fire. When Ink Free News reports arrived on scene, there were no active flames and everyone in the apartments were evacuated. The damages seemed contained to one unit.
Crews were working on releasing smoke from the roof. It is believed that there are no injuries at this time.
