LCA Volleyball: Cougars Compete In Invite
GRIFFITH – The Lakeland Christian Academy volleyball team posted an 0-4 mark Saturday in the Calumet Christian Invitational.
The Cougars lost to Arthur (25-14, 25-17), Grace (25-7, 25-5), Lake County (25-21, 25-21) and Crossroads (25-19, 25-21) in the tournament.
Cami Dahms totaled four aces to go with 13 kills, 12 digs and 10 assists on the day for LCA.
Carlie Wise finished the day with three aces, four kills, four digs and two blocks for the Cougars. Sydney Hobbs had four aces to go with three kills and 11 digs, while Heather Plastow had an ace, a kill and 21 digs.
Baylee Wiley had nine digs and Morgan Ziebarth four kills and Natalie Plastow four digs for LCA.
Jessica Slone had five kills and a block and Kaitlyn Binegar six aces to go with two digs and two blocks.
Kyla Kohler had a big day with nine aces, 14 kills, seven digs and 21 assists.
LCA will host Lakewood Park Christian on Tuesday night.
