Boys Soccer
The Lakeland Christian Academy boys soccer team dropped a 2-0 final at Manchester.
The host Squires tallied a pair of first-half goals in the match, including the first off a penalty kick.
Manchester had a 19-8 edge in shots and a 14-3 advantage in shots on goal in the contest.
LCA keeper Cross Williams had a big game with 13 saves for the Cougars.
LCA, now 6-4-1, will host Tippecanoe Valley on Thursday night.
Volleyball
The Lakeland Christian Academy volleyball team lost a 3-0 final at Fort Wayne Canterbury.
The hosts defeated the Cougars 25-11, 25-9, 25-17 in the varsity matchup.
Carlie Wise had four aces and two digs for LCA. Heather Plastow had eight digs and Sydney Hobbs six. Cami Dahms had two kills, three digs and a block.
Baylee Wiley had an ace and six digs and Morgan Ziebarth a block. Natalie Plastow totaled two blocks and Jessica Slone two digs. Kyle Kohler had four digs.
Canterbury won the JV match 25-15, 25-14.
LCA plays in the Calumet Christian Invitational on Saturday.
