Cindy L. Sneed, 66, Nappanee, died 3:28 a.m., Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka after a long illness.
She was born May 30, 1950 in Plymouth to Elmer and Beverly (Clayton) Baltes. On Oct. 1, 1967, she married Robert H. Sneed Sr. in Kentucky.
He survives along with a son, Jeffrey (Tammy) Sneed Sr., Nappanee; daughters: Beverly (Chuck )Spiller, Hobart; Lynn (Brandon) Yoder, Nappanee; grandchildren: Jeffrey Sneed Jr., Aaron Sneed, Trever Sneed, Heather Spiller, Savanah Spiller, Christian Spiller, Travis Sneed, Joshua Mutto, Ashley Mutto; great grandchildren: Ian, Shianne Sneed; sisters: Bonnie Hardesty, Nappanee; Karen (Brian) Baltes, Plymouth; brother-in-law, Charles Ray (Celeste) Sneed, Athens, Ga.; sister-in-law, Martha (Butch) Norris, Hartwell, Ga.; mother-in-law, Helen (Jim) White, Starr, S.C.; niece, Krystal White; nephew, Austin Hardesty; and best friend, Mary Barghahn.
She joins in heaven, two sons, Robert Sneed Jr, Eugene E.C. Sneed; her parents, Elmer and Beverly Baltes; brother, Lonnie Baltes; and sister-in-law, Judy Smith.
Mrs. Sneed was a graduate of Calumet High School, she had moved to Nappanee 12 years ago and was a housewife. Cindy enjoyed playing Yahtzee and Skipbo with her grandchildren. She also loved to watch her Soap Operas, Young and the Restless, One Life to Live, All My Children, and Bold and Beautiful.
Mrs. Sneed is being cremated. The family will receive friends from 5-8 Friday, Sept. 23 at their residence (174 Meadows).
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
