Linda E. Ward, 69, formerly of Bourbon, passed away at 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at Elkhart Hospice House. Linda was born on May 30, 1945 in South Bend, to the late Katherine (Howard) Allison.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Claude) Ogle, Bourbon; son Robert Ward, Plymouth, and four grandchildren, Allie Marie and Erin Nicole Ogle, Madison Page and Wesley Dale Ward. Linda is also survived by her sister, Victoria Ehinger and brother, Michael (Carol) Woofter; aunt, Marge O’Neil, South Bend, as well as a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Linda retired in 2013 from Niles Langford in Plymouth as a mail clerk after many years. Linda loved her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed gardening, taking her grandchildren to the zoo, traveling to Florida and the ocean there.

The memorial service for Linda will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25, at the Calvary Lutheran Church, 1314 N. Michigan St, Plymouth, IN 46563. Reverend Eric Ahlemeyer will officiate. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services at the church. Dinner will be served at the church following the service.
