Robert James Beaver Jr.-UPDATED
Robert James Beaver Jr., 56, Beech Rd., Bourbon, died at 3:49 a.m. Sept. 9, 2016, at his residence following a sudden illness. He was born on Aug. 16, 1960, in Chicago, Ill., to Robert Beaver Sr. and Leita (Hall) Beaver and had lived in the Argos Community since 1991, coming from Kingman, Ariz.
He worked construction at Bob Beaver Construction. Bob graduated with the class of 1978 from Proviso East High School in Chicago, Ill. Bob served his country in the United States Marine Corp from Dec. 5, 1978, as an Aircraft Safety Equipment Mechanic and on Jan. 4, 1983, Lance Corporal Beaver was honorable discharged. He was a member of the Argos American Legion Post #68 and currently held the office of 1st Vice.
Bob is survived by his daughters: Kristina Beaver, Sturgis, Mich.; Rachelle Ruggles-Meeks, Rochester; Amber Beaver, Plymouth; and Ashley Beaver, Bourbon; 13 grandchildren and two more to arrive shortly; father: Robert Beaver Sr., Cal-Nev-Ari, Nev.; brothers: George Beaver; and David (Patty) Beaver, both of Kingman, Ariz.; and sister:LeAnn Beaver, Kingman, Ariz. He is preceded in death by his mother; and brother: Jamie Beaver.
Friends may visit with the family deom 2-6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos. Military Services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at the James Lowell Corey American Legion Post #68, Argos, with the United States Marine Corp Honor Guard and the Argos American Legion Honor Guard conducting Military Honors.
