“Why I Love Indiana” Essay And Art Contest Deadline Extended
WARSAW — The Indiana Bicentennial has extended the deadlines for the “Why I love Indiana” essay and art contests. The new submission deadline for entries is Sept. 21.
The categories for the essay contest are as follows: kindergarten-third grade, three to four sentences, fourth-eighth grade, 300 words or less and ninth-twelve grade, 500 words or less.
Winning essays will be read at Bicentennial events from Sept. 29 through Oct. 1. All entries will be displayed at the Bicentennial festival October 1.
Mail entries are to be submitted to Courthouse/Bicentennial 100 W. Center St. room 121, Warsaw, IN 46580.
The categories for the art contest are as follows: kindergarten-third grade, fourth-eighth grade, ninth-twelve grade and adult.
Entries should be drawings, paintings (chalk, pastel etc.) or photograph form.
Winning entries will be awarded prizes. All entries will be displayed at the Bicentennial festival Oct. 1. Art entries should be supposed to Latte Lounge, Paula Bowman, 108 N. Buffalo St., Warsaw.
