Robert L. ‘Bob’ Cummings
Robert L. “Bob” Cummings, 87, Warsaw, passed away at 7:40 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. He was born on Jan. 17, 1929, to Theodore and Delta (Parker) Cummings in Warsaw.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Marilyn Baugher on Dec. 30, 1950. He was a diesel mechanic for Brown Molasses, Bremen.
Bob is survived by his wife: Marilyn Cummings, Warsaw; daughter: Debra (Scott) Clark, Claypool; a son: Mark Cummings, Springfield, Ohio; three grandchildren: Seth (Crystal) Bradford, Warsaw; Melanie (Joshua) Shepherd, Claypool; and Lyndsey (companion Tom Seymore) Evans, Warsaw; nine great-grandchildren: Keeghan; Addison; Jailynn; Jarron; Jace; Marleigh; Jack; Brody; and Gavin. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Donna Jean Neher; and LoaDean Creamer; a son-in-law: Gary Geis; and one infant son: Bobby.
There will be a visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held also at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, with Pastor Mike Beezley officiating at the funeral chapel.
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be made to Atwood Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Atwood.
