Jack Fulton Cochran
Jack Fulton Cochran, 64, Rochester, passed away at 5:20 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at his residence.
He was born on Nov. 19, 1951, in La Porte, the son of Donald E. and Helen I. (Heflick) Cochran Sr. On Sept. 21, 1993, in Rochester, he married Dorothy Elizabeth Ingram and she survives.
Jack served as a sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked for Midwest Spring, Mentone, for over 23 years. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post and enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include his wife: Dorothy Cochran, Rochester; son: Brandon Michael Cochran, Rochester; stepchildren: Karen (Bailey) Lane, Bloomington, Ill.; James Bailey, Bloomington, Ill.; Mark Bailey, Rochester; Jamie Warren, Rochester; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers: Donald E. Cochran Jr., Rochester; Andrew Cochran, Rochester; Anthony “Tony” Cochran, Rochester; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters: Karen Cochran; and Rachael J. Swango.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
