CLAYPOOL — Leonard Charles Greer, 29, 134 South Etna St., Etna Green, was arrested for residential entry, a level 6 felony.

On July 19, an officer with the Winona Lake Police Department responded to a residential entry call.

The officer spoke with the resident, who advised he was lying in the living room with his daughter when a male stranger entered his residence with a belt wrapped around his fist. The resident yelled for his wife to call 911, the wife entered the living room and confirmed that she did not know Greer.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, Greer pointed at the resident’s daughter and advised that she was his child. Greer then approached the resident like he was going to punch him, but punched the wall instead.

The resident was finally able to convince Greer to leave the residence.

Greer was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on Sept. 4 with a $5,250 bond.
