Boys Tennis
The NorthWood boys tennis team blanked Elkhart Memorial 5-0 in Northern Lakes Conference action.
Winning for the Panthers in singles play were the trio of Jared Hoffman, Wes Troyer and Landon Holland.
The doubles teams of Cam Stillson and Brant Mast (No. 1) and Trevor Klutz and Jack Wysong (No. 2) also posted wins for NorthWood.
NorthWood won the junior varsity action by a 9-2 final.
NorthWood, now 3-4 overall and 1-1 in the NLC, will host league foe Plymouth on Tuesday.
Girls Soccer
The NorthWood girls soccer team lost a 5-0 match at Northridge in Northern Lakes Conference play.
Ariana Stoltzfus booted home four goals for the Raiders in the win.
Northridge had a 9-0 edge in shots on goal in the league match. Keeper Kira Richardson had four saves for the Panthers.
NorthWood drops to 3-3 overall and 0-2 in the NLC. Northridge improves to 4-1 overall and 2-0.
Volleyball
Host Concord outlasted NorthWood 3-2 in Northern Lakes Conference action.
The Minutemen took the league tussle 19-25, 25-16, 21-25, 25-20, 15-10.
Kennedy Wiens powered the NorthWood attack with 21 kills. Whitney Gessinger had 14 for the Panthers.
Haylee Pennington had three aces and Gessinger two. Caitlin Trenshaw piled up 45 digs on the night and Wiens had 29. Kenzie Moren had three blocks and Pennington and Nicole Flicking each had two. Courtney Lengacher had 24 assists and Carleigh Trippel 22.
