Linda L. Mosier
Linda L. Mosier, 78, Noble County, went to her heavenly home at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31.
She was born April 21, 1938 in Muncie, a daughter of the late Raye and Arline (Fletcher) Mosier. She graduated from Wolf Lake High School in 1956. Later she graduated from Fort Wayne Bible College (now Taylor University) with a Bachelor’s degree. She earned a Master’s degree from St. Francis College.
From 1963 to 1970 she was employed at Fort Wayne Bible College as Dean of Women and counselor in the dorms. From 1970 to 1978 she was employed at Southwestern College in Phoenix, Ariz. as Dean of Women and counselor in the dorm. During the years of 1978 to 1996, Linda taught 5th grade in Christian and public schools in Phoenix.
Linda was a member of the Wolf Lake Baptist Church.
She is survived by two brothers, Larry (Bonnie) Mosier and Tom Mosier, both Columbia City; a niece, Amy (Amos) Bottles; four nephews, Ben Mosier, Jonathan (Charlotte) Mosier, Matt Mosier and David (Nicole) Mosier; four great nieces; and three great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jim Mosier.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Wolf Lake Baptist Church, 1133 South Main with visitation after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in the Thorn Cemetery at Ormas. Visitation will also from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday Sept. 4, at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.
Preferred memorials are to the Wolf Lake Baptist Church.
