KCH Sponsors Family Safety Day
WARSAW — Kosciusko Community Hospital, MedStat and Lutheran EMS Kosciusko will be showing their commitment to community health and safety education at this year’s Family Safety Day presented by Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory. The event is Saturday, September 10 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Center Lake Pavilion, Warsaw.
Fire Chief Michael Wilson said, “We are pleased that Lutheran Health Network KCH and Lutheran EMS Kosciusko are in partnership with the Warsaw – Wayne Fire Territory in sponsoring the 2016 Family Safety Day. These agencies have been and continue to play a very important role in our community with providing fire and life safety education. We have had a long standing working relationship in the area of emergency services as a team for our communities and are pleased to partner with them and Kosciusko REMC in providing this great event. Please take time on Saturday September 10 to visit Central Park and experience this great event.”
Along with numerous public safety organizations, KCH, Lutheran EMS Kosciusko and MedStat Urgent Care staff will be at the event and participating in hands-on activities throughout the weekend. KCH presented activities include: Children’s gummy worm surgical station, make and take first aid packs, children’s games, CPR training and hand washing station. Lutheran Air will also be present.
Last year, an estimated 4,000 people attended the event.
