Sheila Louise Hewitt, 53, Wawaka, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at her home in Brimfield. She was born on May 24, 1963, to Harvey and Patricia (Christlieb) Heintzelman in LaGrange. On Oct. 10, 2015, she married Hershel Hewitt at Jones Lake.

Sheila worked for Silgan Plastics for 17 years and also for Parker Hannifan. She loved motorcycles, butterflies and visiting the botanical gardens. Sheila was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and loved being with her grandchildren.

Sheila is survived by her husband: Hershel, Brimfield; two sons: Travis (Jessica) Brimhall, Cromwell; Justin (Jamie) Brimhall, Fort Wayne; six grandchildren: Shaylen; Blayke; Taryn; Matthew; Brynne; and Ayden; her mother: Patricia Heintzelman, Ligonier; three siblings: Lola (Tim) Terry; Tony Heintzelman; and Amy (Curt) Hasting. She was preceded in death by her father: Harvey Heintzelman.

There will be a time of visitation held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at Yeager Funeral Home, Ligonier, and also one hour before the funeral service on Saturday, Sept. 3. There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at the funeral home with Pastor Linda Hewitt officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Wawaka.
