Delores Ruth Duffy, Warsaw, passed away at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, at the age of 81.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she was a member of Christian Life Apostolic Church of Warsaw. She attended Pierceton High School, Pierceton. Delores worked for 25 years as a quality control inspector at Zimmer Inc. of Warsaw retiring in 1997.
She was born on Feb. 12, 1935, in Oswego, to Luther Verl Mahoney and Ruth (Konkle) Mahoney. On Oct. 10, 1958, she was married to Max Duffy, who passed away on July 19, 1999.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Sondra (Rick) Hurd, River Falls, Wis.; son: Reverend Tim (Brenda) Duffy, Warsaw; and her granddaughter: Anna Shea Duffy, Warsaw. Also surviving are her sister: Phyllis Rider, Warsaw; and two brothers: David (Linda) Mahoney, Elkhart; and Reverend Thomas S. (Sharon) Mahoney, Vista, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and her sister: Elizabeth M. Mahoney in 2011.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. Her funeral service will be conducted immediately following visitation at 1 p.m. and officiated by Pastor Mark Kondas.
Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
