September’s First Friday Is Moving To The Millennium
WARSAW — The September First Friday is themed around 2000 – 2016 and themed “Moving to the Millennium”. This will be the last First Friday as a part of the Decades of Change bicentennial series. The series will end with a full night of entertainment for the whole family.
Korean War Veterans residing in Kosciusko County will be honored at the War Memorial at the Kosciusko County Courthouse at 6 p.m. The ceremony is a continuance of the “Honor & Remember Committee of Kosciusko County.” Veterans will participate in a “Roll Call” to be recognized for their service.
Recording artist, Todd Herendeen will perform on center stage from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Herendeen will perform songs by Elvis, Johnny Cash and other artists.
All night, from 5 to 9 p.m., Porches will line the courthouse square. There will also be Pickleball throughout the evening on South Buffalo Street. Just like every First Friday, downtown businesses will host special events with extended hours, entertainment and shopping deals.
September’s First Friday is sponsored by the Serenity House, as a part of their annual fundraiser for a new women’s shelter.
