Clarence L. Tully
Clarence L. Tully, 80, formerly of Wabash, passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2016 at 2:10 a.m. in his home in Ocala, Fla.
He was born to the late Roy and Nora (Harris) Tully on Feb. 29, 1936 in Chalmers.
He served his country in the United States Marine Corp, during the Korean Conflict from 1954-1957. Clarence married Peggy McBride on Sept. 8, 1957, she survives in Ocala, Fla. He retired from Wabash County Highway Department. He was a member of VFW Post 7193 in Ocala, Fla., American Legion Post 248 in Lagro, and Eagles Lodge in Ocala, Fla.
Along with his wife, Peggy; he is also survived by a son, Terry Tully (Cathy), Pass Christian, Miss.; brother, John Tully, Columbus; sisters: Ester Eskew of Lafayette; Mrs. Leona (John) Johnson, Chalmers; Alice Easley, Monticello; and Francis Rittenhouse, Monticello; seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Tully and daughter, Linda Bruce.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, 1100 Manchester Avenue in Wabash, with Military Honors. Burial to follow at the cemetery.
