Consuelo Duran-DeRamirez
Consuelo Duran-DeRamirez, 64, Argos, died at 5:05 a.m. Aug. 21, 2016, at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. She had been in declining health for the past couple of years.
Consuelo was born on April 26, 1952, in Zacatecas, Mexico, to Manuel Duran and Delores Frias-Duran and had lived in Argos since 2010.
In May 1975, in Nochistlan, Mexico, she married Celso Ramirez-Valdez. Consuelo was a housewife/homemaker and attended St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Plymouth.
Consuelo is survived by her husband: Celso Ramirez-Valdez, Argos; a daughter: Domenica (Silverio) Martinez, Poteau, Okla.; sons: Monico (Lanatte) Ramirez-Duran, Bakersfield, Calif.; Javier Ramirez, Stockton, Calif.; and Juan Ramirez, Stockton, Calif.; six grandchildren; and sisters: Rosa Duran-Frias; and Antonia Duran-Frias. She is preceded in death by his parents; and a sister.
Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos. Funeral services will be held ta 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos.
