Valley Golf: Pilgrims Pretty Good At Home
PLYMOUTH – Plymouth enjoyed a dual girls golf match with Tippecanoe Valley at its home course Wednesday, claiming a 201-228 win at Pretty Lake Country Club.
Lauren Kolter paced Plymouth with a medalist round of 46 in a match that was moved from Monday’s rain and abbreviated in losing LaVille and Bremen off the list.
Valley (1-5) was led by the 49 from Victoria Biddle. Makayla Sandbakken came home with a 57 and Blake McBrier had a 59, followed by Bethany Johnson’s 63 and Jade VanMeter’s 67.
Tippy’s JV score in the 232-274 loss to Plymouth saw Jordan Krotke finish at 64 to lead the Vikings, followed by Lexi Cumberland (68), Brianna McBrier (71) and Kelsey Shafer (71).
Next up for the Vikings is a three-team match Thursday at Round Barn in Rochester with Wabash and Warsaw.
