Glenn Kennedy
Glenn Ray Kennedy, Warsaw, passed away at 10:14 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, at the age of 73.
He was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 45 years. Glenn enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and proudly served until his honorable discharge. He continued his education and graduated from Morehead State University in Morehead, Ky., with a business degree. In 1976, he was hired by R.R. Donnelley and Sons, Warsaw, and worked there for 37 years until his retirement in 2013. He was an avid reader, gardener and very much enjoyed fishing. He will be missed by many friends and family members.
He was born on Oct. 17, 1942, in Garrison, Ky., to Earl Wayne Kennedy and Edith (Lawhun) Kennedy. On April 27, 1974, in Warsaw, he was married to Margaret Susan Magee, who survives. They shared 42 years of marriage together.
He also leaves behind two brothers: Gene Kennedy, Arkansas; Philip Kennedy, Kentucky; and four sisters: Eldene Spriggs, Florida; Pauline Kennedy, Ohio; Mary Lou Kennedy, Kentucky; and Judy Christian, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents.
No visitation or services are planned.
Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
Memorial donations in Glenn’s name may be directed to the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, Pierceton, and would be appreciated by his family.
