Myrtle “JoAnn” Bell
Myrtle J. “JoAnn” Bell, 86, North Webster, passed away at 6:27 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, at her home. She was born on Feb. 18, 1930, Larwill, to James William & Mildred Irene (Marrs) Bohnstedt.
She was a lifetime Whitley/Kosciusko County resident and graduated in 1948 from Larwill High School. On Dec. 29, 1951 in Etna Troy, she married Dester Bell who preceded her on Jan. 29, 2005. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at the Land O’ Lakes Barn, Al-N-Dee Grill, and Farmers State Bank all in North Webster.
She was a member of the North Webster United Methodist Church and formerly attended the Etna Troy United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three Daughters: Emily Thomas, North Webster; Mitzi (Rick) Reber, Warsaw; and Paula (Greg) Kaiser, Milford; son: Wesley “Wes” (Ann) Bell, North Webster;
eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and brother: Albert (Jan) Bohnstedt, Fort Wayne.
She was preceded by her parents: husband: son: Marshall James Bell; 2 sisters: Julia Watkins; and Marlene Townsend; and 2 brothers: Gerald; and Ed Bohnstedt.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, in the funeral home with Pastor Byron Kaiser of the church officiating. Burial will follow in the West Etna Cemetery.
Memorial bequest may be given to American Cancer Society, Mishawaka, or American Heart Association, Indianapolis. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
