Mary Etta Hayn
Mary Etta (Adams) Hayn, 86 of Maple Rd., Argos, Indiana died on August 12, 2016 at 9:50 p.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor, Culver, Indiana where she had been in declining health for the past couple of years. She was known for her warm smile and her Dutch Apple pies.
Mary was born on Aug. 3, 1930 in Argos, Indiana to Loren Adams and Cora (Jeffries) Adams and she had lived in Marshall County all of her life.
On June 14, 1947 in Teegarden, Indiana she married Donald Jay Hayn and together they have shared the past 69 years with each other. Mary was a Housewife/Farmers wife.
Mary enjoyed reading, Ironing, and baking pies. Mart and Don attend the Plymouth Wesleyan Church, Plymouth, Indiana, and were member of the Plymouth Moose Family Center #741, Plymouth, Indiana. She had wintered in Sebring, Florida for 20 years.
Mary is survived by his Husband, Donald Hayn, Argos, Indiana, Daughters: Delores Reed and husband Doug of Warsaw, Indiana; and Joan Buchanan, Loveland, Colorado, Sons: Merl Hayn and wife Susan of Argos, Indiana; and Loren Hayn and wife Martha of Argos, Indiana, nine Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Howard Wilhelm and sister Dorothy Graham.
Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016 at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016 at the Plymouth Wesleyan Church, 11203 S. Michigan Rd., Plymouth, Indiana with burial following at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
Rev. Ollie Dongell and Rev. Ed Friberg both of the Plymouth Wesleyan Church will be officiating the services.
