Erik Mounsey Morris
Erik Dean “Doc” Mounsey Morris, 20, Bristol, died Thursday evening, Aug. 4, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, following a motorcycle accident near Shipshewana. He was born Aug. 13, 1995, in Goshen.
He is survived by his mother: Lily (Jon) Barrick Gregorski, Bristol; his father: Ken (Lorelei) Mounsey Jr., Syracuse; fiance: Kayla Garber, Warsaw; stepson: Kasen Garber, Warsaw; three sisters: Danielle (Demiris) Williams, Syracuse; Somur (Christopher) Stanley, Goshen; and Allyson Kirsch, Bristol; stepbrothers: Malachi; and Nicholi Rushlo; Chris; and Alex Yanez; and Colby Smoker; stepsisters: Paige; and Hadie Klabusich; and Megan Waldrop; grandparents: Nora Laws; and Eldon (Lori) Barrick, both of Elkhart; and Joan Mounsey, Bakersfield, Calif.; nieces: Kylinne; and Holly; and nephews: Baiylin; and Conner. He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Kenneth Mounsey Sr.
Erik attended Goshen and Northridge High Schools where he was active in football, track and wrestling. He currently worked in the local R.V. manufacturing industry.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12. Pastor Fred Curry, New Paris Full Gospel Church, will officiate.
Cremation will take place after the service.
