Little Black Dress Fashion Show Coming To Warsaw
WARSAW — Goodwill and Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts will host the Little Black Dress Fashion Show Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Wagon Wheel, Warsaw.
They are partnering with WSBT-TV and WAWC-FM / Willie 103.5 to raise funds in support of Wagon Wheel’s Access to the Arts for Children and Goodwill’s Mission.
“Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts is thrilled to be collaborating with Goodwill to present the Little Black Dress Fashion Show in Warsaw. We’re excited about bringing this event to our unique round stage; what a perfect place for a fashion show. The Wagon Wheel and Goodwill are committed to enhancing quality of life across the region, and this partnership is a natural fit for us,” states Holly Lantz, interim executive director, Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts.
Models from the Warsaw community will walk the runway in clothing from Goodwill showcasing the latest fashion trends. Kathy Friend, nationally known as a stylist and image consultant and President of the Style and Image Institute, will produce and host the program. She will be joined by Emcee Suzanne Spencer, WSBT-TV reporter. Celebrity Models Matt Rudkin, WSBT-TV Meteorologist, and Teri Armstrong, Willie 103.5’s news director and morning co-host, will showcase Goodwill fashion on the runway.
“Last year we assisted over 7,000 people in their search for employment and placed over 950 individuals in jobs with local employers. Yet, there is so much more that we could do and need to do. So, we invite our friends to attend specialty events like this one, because in doing so they help us change lives in our community,” comments Debie Coble, president and CEO.
Guests will enjoy shopping 50 percent off in the Goodwill Boutique when it opens at 5 p.m. The fashion show will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the boutique will re-open when the show concludes.
The evening will include hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Tickets are $30 and are available at the Wagon Wheel box office.
