Dorothy M. Griewank
Dorothy M. Griewank, 85, Plymouth, passed away at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, in the Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home.
Dorothy was born on April 5, 1931, in Miami County, to Darwin and Mildred (Han) Baker. On June 20, 1948, Dorothy became the bride of Roy D. Griewank in a ceremony in South Bend. Roy preceded Dorothy in passing on Feb. 2, 1994. Dorothy worked for over 20 years at the O and H Jewelers and Al’s Garage where she was office manager and bookkeeper. Dorothy was an Eastern Star Rainbow and attended the Pretty Lake United Methodist Church. Dorothy enjoyed crafting, bowling and Euchre. She will be fondly remembered by all who loved her.
Dorothy is survived by daughter: Barb (Jim) Weisser, South Bend; sons: James (Sherri) Griewank, Plymouth; and Bruce (Shari) Griewank, Spencerville; sister: Pat Adam, Indianapolis. Dorothy was further blessed with nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by her parents; husband: Roy; son: David; brother: Richard Baker; and her sister: Delores Walter.

A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held in the Van Gilder Funeral Home, Plymouth, from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13. Burial will take place at a later date in the New Oakhill Cemetery.
