Annie R. Ryan — UPDATED
Annie R. Ryan, 99, Warsaw, died at 11:55 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2016 in Mason Health, Warsaw.
She was born July 13, 1917 in Eccles W. Va. to William Ellis Jones and Leila Virginia (Thompson) Jones. She married Rev. J. Leroy Anderson, who preceded her in death. She then married Ben H. Ryan, who also preceded her.
She spent most of her life in Warsaw and worked as a housekeeper for James and Ruth Thomas, Brooks and Nancy Dalton and Frank and Irene Saeman, retiring in 1987. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Warsaw, on the Bard of Directors of the Senior Citizens Council; she loved to read and garden.
She is survived by her daughter: Priscilla Woods, Warsaw; her son: Jimmy (Elizabeth) Anderson, Tucson, Ariz.; her great grandson: T. Christopher Anderson, Honolulu, Hawaii; grandson-in-law: Stanley Stutzman, Warsaw; great-great grandchildren: Myles C. Anderson, Honolulu, Hawaii; Makena R. Anderson, Honolulu, Hawaii; Mila G. Anderson, Honolulu, Hawii; step sister: Karen (Albert) Coleman, Roanoke, Va.; step brother: Eugene (Belinda) Anderson, Virginia Beach, Va.
She was preceded in death by her sister: Wilma L. Coleman; her brother: Mike W. Jones; her granddaughter: Janet Stutzman.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-noon, Monday Aug. 8 at Titus Funeral home with a funeral service following. Pastor Steve Rahn from First Baptist Church of Warsaw will officiate. Burila will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
