Jackson Out Of Hospital, Booked In Jail
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Alexander David Jackson, 24, 11548 N. SR 13, Syracuse, has been released from the hospital and was booked yesterday, Sunday, July 31, in the Kosciusko County Jail.
He was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury. His bond has been set at $5,000 surety and $250 cash.
Around 6 p.m. last Wednesday evening, July 27, officers responded to a 911 call about a possible road rage incident. What followed was a chase from Syracuse to North Webster, with Jackson allegedly firing a gun at the vehicle he was pursuing.
During the pursuit, Kosciusko County Deputy Sheriff’s Deputy Don McCune also fired his gun. Jackson’s pickup truck ended up striking and damaging a place of business. He was hospitalized with injuries from the crash and from a gunshot wound.
