Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
10:32 p.m. Sunday, July 31, at North SR 13 and East CR 200N, Pierceton. Driver: Roberta J. Lowry, 71, South CR 200E, Anderson. Hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
10:18 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at North SR 13, north of North Brown Street, Syracuse. Driver: Steven Grindle, 52, East Bayview Drive, Syracuse. Grindle was driving northbound on SR 13 and left the west side of SR 13 and struck a tree on the South Shore Golf Course property. Damage up to $10,000. Grindle was transported by EMS to Parkview Hospital.
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
10:42 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at 1515 Provident Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Breanna J. Woodcock, 17, Wexford Place, Warsaw. Woodcock rear-ended a parked vehicle with her own. Damage up to $2,500.
10:15 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at East Clark Street, east of North McKinley Street, Warsaw. Drivers: John M. Dimmitt, 35, North Roosevelt Road, Warsaw, and Jade E. Botset, 27, North Roosevelt Road, Warsaw. Botset’s vehicle was parked in a driveway and Dimmitt parked his vehicle in front of it. He exited his vehicle and approached Botset, but Dimmitt had unknowingly left his vehicle in gear and it collided with Botset’s vehicle. According to the accident report, once Dimmitt realized his vehicle was in gear he re-entered it and left the area. Damage up to $1,000. Dimmitt was located by the Warsaw Police Department.
