Fern Yoder
Fern Yoder, 79, of Nappanee, died at 9:35 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born March 7, 1937, in Etna Green to Harvey and Rose (Slabaugh) Stutzman. She lived her lifetime in this area. On February 2, 1956, she married Herman R. Yoder.
Mrs. Yoder was a homemaker and a member of Berea Christian Fellowship Church.
Surviving is her husband, Herman; daughters, Carolyn Yoder, Sharon (Phil) White, Karen (Ron) Stoneburner; sons, Keith (Cheryl) Yoder, Galen (Christy) Yoder, Herman (Lynn) Yoder, all of Nappanee area; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Katherine (Earl) Yoder, Napppanee; and brothers, Harvey ( Bonnie Jean) Stutzman, Shipshewana and Lloyd (Frieda) Stutzman, Nappanee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson: Mark Hochsetler; and a sister: Tressie Helmuth.
Family and friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, July 31, and 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at The Pond (3791 E. County Line Road, Bremen). Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, also at The Pond.
Officiating will be Ministers Keith Yoder and James Yoder. The burial will be in Berea Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery.
